There has been a great migration from the heart of the tech industry from Silicon Valley into many other regions across the United States.

One such destination for these tech companies is Florida, with its warm climate, sunny beaches and vibrant cities such as Tampa and Miami rolling out the red carpet welcome various tech companies from startups to gigantic, it is beginning to pay off as Microsoft becomes the next tech company to settle down in Miami.

Microsoft has just leased a 55,000 sq. ft. space at 830 Brickell, Miami's newest office tower which is now under construction. The building is towering in size; it has 55 floors and 1,030,000 square feet of uninterrupted glass, illuminated day and night by Miami Beach's warm bay hues and nocturnal radiance.

The building will be the new hub of the Microsoft Latin America team as well as other businesses of the tech icons affairs.

Microsoft's VP of Sales, Marketing and Operations for Latin America, Mariana Castro states...

"This move will unite employees across multiple locations supporting collaboration, inspiration, and productivity. The new location will also serve as a bridge to deepen relationships with our customers while navigating the ever-changing hybrid work environment and maintaining Microsoft’s high standards around sustainability and accessibility,”

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez who has been lobbying for tech companies to make the great migration for some time now is extremely excited about the announcement, tweeting...

The movement of tech companies both large and small into the Tampa and Miami regions, will make a direct impact on the economy, as well as bolster wealth and job creation into their communities.
