Let coding = love

Let coding = love

Technology has the ability to make our world safer & more peaceful.

One of the most amazing things about life is family and friends. The fact that we get to bond with other people is absolutely amazing. We are able to connect with people on a daily basis and talk about how our day went, maybe about that new tech job you just landed at Google.

Success just seems worth it when we get to share it with the people we care about the most.

Learning to code programs is togetherness and unifying, it brings individuals of all walks of life together under one umbrella called the World Wide Web . Writing programs is my way of giving back to the universe forming bonds with others through hashes, objects, Ruby , JavaScript, React, Redux and Sinatra connecting them together in a web of information.

To be honest most programmers might just think of coding as a way to provide for their families (although true) However, it’s much more than that!

It’s feeding people in countries who are less fortunate than ourselves through organizations who are mostly web based. Coding reaches out to the world - gathering resources to provide food, clothing, and shelter to those in need. It's allowing children to dream and experience that everything is possible in the world in which they live, unlocking possibilities and potential.

Coding enables us to intertwine with people who do not look like us or sound like us in native languages, unraveling the mystery of cultures from all over the globe.

According to the United Nations,

Throughout history, technological revolutions have changed the labour force: creating new forms and patterns of work, making others obsolete, and leading to wider societal changes. This current wave of change is likely to have profound impacts. For example, the International Labour Organization estimates that the shift to a greener economy could create 24 million new jobs globally by 2030 through the adoption of sustainable practices in the energy sector, the use of electric vehicles and increasing energy efficiency in existing and future buildings.

Millions of lives are being impacted by every programmer around the world - making contributions to each of their communities whether they know it or not. Every line typed into our editor of choice infuses hope into every culture. So awesome!

Coding isn’t judgmental or racist, it’s inviting and accepting.

When we code, we unlock the potential of humanity bringing everyone together under the magnificence of woman and mankind alike celebrating our differences and uniqueness. Technology has the ability to make our world safer, more fairer, and more sustainable and more peaceful.

Whenever you turn on your monitor think of these things before you enter your first line of code, and then my friend, you will truly code happy.
